Remembrance @ Parkside
On Monday, Parkside staff and children observed a two minute silence to commemorate those who lost their lives or were affected by war. Ms Ward along with Junior Leaders Ava and Miley (Y6), Molly and Ashley (Y4), also helped by Amelia and Maja (Y5) went to a service at Royston St John's Cenotaph. The children represented Parkside as our community remembered the fallen and read a poem. They took some time to look at and study the names of those who didn't return to Royston after The Great War and World War Two.
