Assessment
At Parkside Primary Academy we use a variety of different assessments to help our children make progress. Assessment for learning is used in every lesson so that we can see what children have learnt and how they can build on this learning in their next lesson.
Alongside other assessment opportunities we use NFER Assessments in reading, SPAG and mathematics to see what children can do well and if they have any gaps in their knowledge. All assessments are linked to end of year Age Related Expectations and the SATs Assessment frameworks.
