Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
What a very busy December it has been! We've been 'Whoops a daisied' by Christmas performances from Foundation Stages 1 & 2, 'Hey Ewe'd' in a tremendous performance by Key Stage 1 and celebrated with the Key Stage 2 'Christmas Stars'. A very big well done to all the children involved in Parkside's performances and a thank you to the staff and parents who made these possible. We have also said goodbye to Miss Biles who is leaving to go on her world travels in January. However we are looking forward to having Mrs Smith working with us in Year 5 in the new year.
This week we have also had the pleasure of hosting our first Parkside Choir Concert, where the children from our after school choir and Luke, (their Choirmaster) sang for parents and grandparents. We all had so much fun, particularly when parents and staff joined in singing 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'!
I'd like to thank all staff, children, parents, grandparents and carers for their hard work and support throughout 2019; without a doubt it is all of you that make Parkside Primary such a special place to be.
